Stainer
Description
Microscopic staining is one of the methods used to detect Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Mycobacterial cell walls contain mycolic acid, which binds strongly to the dye and is "acid-resistant".
Fluorescent dyestuff auramine-rhodamine combined with mycotic acid in acid-resistant cell wall, and it tolerated acid-alcohol (decolorant) cleaning and decolorization. The inverse potassium permanganate is used to show staining organisms. The AFB (fluorescent) reagent can be used not only in auto stainer, but also in manual staining. The reagent has good stability and effect.
